Try the scent first

annusells.perfume is an online perfume shop based in Ruiru. We sell Arabian perfumes from Lattafa, Paris Corner, Ard Al Zaafaran and Fragrance World, and every one of them comes in two ways: as a full bottle, or as a 10ml decant.

The idea is simple. A perfume can seem perfect on a paper strip and turn out differently on your skin after a few hours, in your weather, through your week. A full bottle is a real spend, so it makes sense to know before you commit.

Why 10ml

Ten millilitres is enough to wear a scent properly: to work, to church, to an evening out. Enough to notice how it opens, how it settles and whether people lean in. If you love it, come back for the bottle. If you don't, you have learnt something about your taste without paying for a whole bottle.

Decants also help when the budget is tight. If a full bottle is out of reach this month, a decant lets you wear the scent you want now.

How we write about perfume

We describe each perfume by its house, its name and its size, then its character in plain words. Where we don't know the notes of a scent, we won't make them up; we describe the mood its name suggests and let your nose decide.
